A Construction Engineer Who Understands Structures Beyond the Surface

Jaakko is a construction engineer (BEng) whose expertise is built on extensive experience both as a site engineer and in hands-on renovation work — particularly in moisture damage repairs. He understands buildings from the inside out, quite literally. Practical construction work combined with site management responsibilities has sharpened his eye for identifying how structures function, where risk points lie, and how different forms of damage develop through cause-and-effect relationships.

Jaakko’s strength lies in combining technical expertise with practical experience in customer-oriented property condition inspections and investigations. He approaches every assignment carefully and with a solution-focused mindset, always keeping the client’s needs and the building’s true condition at the center.

Alongside his work, Jaakko is pursuing a Master of Science in Technology degree at the University of Oulu, specializing in building health.

Outside of work, Jaakko is often found on the floorball court — his passion and game sense are evident in his free time as well. The same qualities that make him a strong team player are visible in his professional work: commitment, situational awareness, and a determination to see things through properly to the finish line.
