Booking Terms
A booking is binding in accordance with the price list valid at the time of booking.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled inspection will be charged at 50% of the service price. Bookings that are not cancelled will be charged at 100% of the service price.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that they have the right to enter into a service booking and for informing all ordering parties of these booking terms.
All requested customer details (name, email address, and postal address) must be provided at the time of booking. If complete customer information is not provided, the booking shall be considered preliminary only.
If the customer does not have a postal address in Finland registered in the Finnish Population Information System, the service must be paid in advance by invoice.
Contract Terms
The order constitutes a binding agreement for the inspection of the condition of a residential property in accordance with the price list valid at the time of ordering.
At the time of ordering, the contracting parties responsible for payment of the invoice must be specified. Suomen talokatsastus Oy will not amend the contract after the inspection, even if the contracting parties agree otherwise between themselves. If the contract needs to be amended, a new agreement must always be concluded between the parties. A fee of 50 € per amendment will be charged.
Suomen talokatsastus Oy shall not be liable for any incorrect information provided at the booking stage. Any changes to the information must be submitted in writing immediately upon discovery of the error.
The order will be invoiced once the inspection report has been delivered. The primary method of invoice delivery is by email to the email address provided at the time of booking.* If the customer wishes to receive the invoice by post, this must be stated in writing at the time of booking or no later than before the start of the inspection. A fee of 5 € will be charged for paper invoicing.
A fee of 30 € per invoice will be charged for any changes to an invoice. This applies to all changes requested after the invoice has been issued.
The price is stated in the order agreement, which is available in Talotasku. Instructions for logging into Talotasku will be sent to the email addresses of the inspection parties within two (2) business days after the booking has been made. Delivery of login instructions may be delayed if the requested information has not been provided for the booking.
An order may be cancelled free of charge if there are at least 48 hours remaining before the scheduled start of the inspection. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the inspection may be charged at 50% of the service price. Bookings that are not cancelled will be charged at 100% of the service price.
In the event of late payment, Suomen talokatsastus Oy shall charge any costs and interest arising from payment reminders and delayed payments.
If payment has not been made by the due date, Suomen Talokatsastus Oy reserves the right to refuse to carry out any further inspections and to prohibit the use of the inspection report.
Suomen Talokatsastus Oy reserves the right to check the credit information of the contracting parties. If the customer has payment defaults or other negative credit records, Suomen Talokatsastus Oy reserves the right to require advance payment for the order.
* To reduce the risk of email invoices being filtered into a spam folder, customers are advised to add the address info@talokatsastus.fi to their list of safe senders.
