EcoSense EcoQube Flex Radon Detector User Guide
1. Install the batteries and power on the device
Insert the batteries according to the instructions included with the product. The display will start automatically and measurements will begin immediately.
2. Place the detector correctly
Place the detector in the room where you want to monitor radon levels. Recommended locations include basements, bedrooms, and other regularly occupied living areas. Avoid placing the device directly next to windows, ventilation openings, or heat sources.
3. Wait for the first results
The first radon reading will appear after approximately 10 minutes. More reliable results are typically available after about one hour of continuous monitoring.
4. Monitor radon levels on the display
The device’s always-on display shows the current radon concentration as well as average values for the selected time period. You can also review previous minimum and maximum readings.
5. Connect to the mobile app (optional)
Download the free Ecosense App (iOS/Android) and connect the detector via Bluetooth. The app allows you to view measurement history, compare results between rooms, and track long-term changes in radon levels.
6. Continuous monitoring
Radon levels vary depending on the time of day, weather conditions, and season. Continuous monitoring provides the most accurate picture of the radon levels in your home.
